Simmonds shines for Boldmere St Michaels

FORMER Villa prospect Sam Simmonds is looking to rebuild his career at Boldmere St Michaels.
The full-back, 19, signed a two-year contract with Villa before breaking his leg.
Simmonds had a couple of run-outs in Mikes’ reserve side but was drafted into the first team this week and shone in the 3-1 win over Malvern Town.
Meanwhile, Mikes first team-coach Steve Moore has stepped down to take up a coaching role with Villa’s under-12 side.
Moore is replaced by former Mikes player Stuart Grosvenor.
