KIDDERMINSTER Harriers twice came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at Wrexham in the Blue Square Premier.
All the goals arrived in the first half following a frantic 18-minute spell at the Racecourse Ground.
Mike Williams fired the Welshmen ahead when he bundled home from a Wes Baynes free-kick on 26 minutes.
Harriers hit back to level seven minutes later, thanks to a precise shot from Brian Smikle.
Wrexham were quick to regain the lead when Williams struck again within two minutes of Harriers’ leveller.
Harriers responded just before half-time when Wrexham goalkeeper Chris Maxwell pushed David McDermott’s shot into the path of skipper Chris McPhee, who made no mistake from close range.
Tamworth tumbled to a 2-0 defeat against Altrincham at the Lamb.
All the important action arrived late in the game after Tamworth had failed to make the most of their chances.
Chris Smith needlessly gave away a 70th-minute free-kick which Altrincham’s Matt Doughty delightfully curled around the defensive wall from 20 yards.
Altrincham wrapped up the points three minutes from time when goalkeeper Danny Alcock failed to hold Tom Kearney’s shot and John McAliskey stole in to slot home.
Redditch United rocked local rivals Solihull Moors with a 2-1 win at Damson Park in Blue Square North.
Early strikes from Jamie Sheldon and Jack Byrne caused the damage.
Moors pulled a goal back five minutes from time when Derby County loanee Greg Mills netted from the penalty spot after Reds had been penalised for handling.
The result sees Reds rise out of the bottom three, above Moors and into 15th place.
Stourbridge bowed out of the FA Trophy with a 4-2 defeat at Blue Square North leaders Southport.
Drew Canavan put the Glassboys ahead with a thunderous 30-yard drive after 20 minutes before Southport struck back with goals either side of half-time.
Chris Lever levelled when he headed home from a 41st-minute corner.
Steve Daly struck a second on 48 minutes after getting the better of Stourbridge defender Nathan Bennett to slot home.
Stourbridge refused to lie down and squared matters on 58 minutes when Ryan Rowe rifled home after Southport failed to clear Craig Slater’s cross.
The Glassboys held out until the 81st minute, when Bradley Barnes beat goalkeeper Stuart Brock with a ball that went in off the post.
Victory was completed five minutes from time when Bennett brought down Daly who got up to convert the penalty.
