Second signing arrives at Leamington
PAUL Holleran has made his second signing since taking charge of Leamington by capturing Chasetown’s highly-rated midfield player Richard Batchelor.
Previously with Sutton Coldfield side Romulus, the 21-year-old is the son of former Highgate United player Norman Batchelor.
Holleran claimed: “Richard has already played a great deal of non-league football despite his young age and has all the attributes to keep getting better.
“He’s a player I’ve kept an eye on for other people, so I’m delighted to sign him for myself.”
Holleran has also drafted in Stafford Rangers player Scott Lycett on a short term loan deal.
Leamington have lost the services of Wayne Blossom and Dan Pirvu.
Blossom has told Holleran that he cannot commit to training owing to his work schedule and is now turning out for United Counties League leaders Daventry Town.
Pirvu hasn’t appeared for the Brakes since late September for family reasons.
