Solihull Moors ready for Telford test

SOLIHULL Moors will again relish the chance to prove they can match the best in the Blue Square Bet North for the second weekend in a row – and hope for a change in fortune.
The Moors conceded a goal five minutes into stoppage time to lose 2-1 at second-placed Workington last week and tomorrow tackle the third-placed team, AFC Telford United, at Damson Park.
Bob Faulkner’s side have already excelled on home soil and will be seeking a fourth successive home victory in a row.
“We always said playing Workington and Telford would give us a good gauge of where we are, especially with such a new team, but we showed against Workington we are not a million miles away,” said assistant boss Micky Moore.
A back injury will keep out midfielder Alex Price while defender Charlie O’Loughlin faces a fitness test on his ankle injury.
Redditch United manager Matt Gardiner will have a full squad available for the first time this season – but he will have no fixture.
The Reds’ contest against Ilkeston Town has been cancelled because the Derbyshire club faces being wound up. A high court hearing on Wednesday heard they owe HM Customs and Excise £50,000.
