Halesowen Town could fold warns chairman

CHAIRMAN Graham Ingram has warned that Halesowen Town will fold unless new benefactors or sponsors come forward.

The shock news follows a decision by Ingram’s brother, Godfrey, a US-based businessman, to stop his financial input following local newspaper reports about a pending court case involving a ‘private business matter’ in the States.

Godfrey Ingram has been bankrolling the Zamaretto Premier club but his brother said that without his sibling’s cash the club is “commercially unsustainable”.

Godfrey has effectively set a five-day deadline for help but there are real fears that the Yeltz will not see out the season.

The club, now at the foot of the table, has been operating on a shoestring budget all season and has had four different managers.
