CHRIS Keogh had endured two right-to-the-wire play-offs races in the past two seasons with Sutton Coldfield Town – and he doesn’t expect anything different this season.
The Royals lie sixth in the Evo-Stik Division One South before today’s home game with Loughborough Dynamo, but just six points separate second place and seventh.
Sutton boss Keogh says the next ten days could have a huge bearing on their prospects as they tackle three fellow contenders.
Grantham Town visit Coles Lane on Monday before Sutton head to Kidsgrove Athletic next Saturday and then Carlton Town the following Wednesday.
“Those three games could make-or-break our season but it’s important we focus on Loughborough first,” said Keogh. “We have struggled against teams lower down the table and there’s no room for errors at this stage.
“It’s going to be a roller-coaster in the next month.”
Sutton have been denied a top-five berth on goal difference in the past two seasons and it all points to another last-day drama when Keogh’s men face ground-sharers Romulus.
