Kidderminster Harriers secure two new players

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Steve Burr has continued his planning for next season by securing the services of Jack Byrne and Nick Wright.

Midfielder Byrne and front-runner Wright were among the youngsters to impress as Harriers finished sixth in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Both had one-year options on their contracts and Burr confirmed Harriers had taken up the clauses.

Having already secured Mike Williams, Jamille Matt and Robert Thompson-Brown on new one-year contracts, the signing of ex-Redditch playmaker Byrne and former Tamworth forward Wright means Harriers have 11 contracted players for next season.

Kidderminster have also offered terms of re-engagement to winger Matty Blair, who endured a stunning debut season in non-League’s top tier.

He has yet to make a decision on his future.
