SUBSTITUTE Scott Phelan grabbed a late equaliser to earn Kidderminster Harriers a 1-1 draw at home to Stockport County last night.

The visitors, managed by former Liverpool star Didi Hamman, took a deserved lead on 26 minutes when Tom Elliott met Sam Sheridan’s cross with a diving header to send the ball past keeper Danny Lewis.

Harriers were more threatening in the second half but had to wait until two minutes from time to level.

Phelan, a summer signing from FC Halifax, was set free inside the area and coolly slotted home past keeper Matt Glennon.
