Andy Williams fit for Moseley first XV return

MOSELEY are boosted by the return of Andy Williams for the Championship clash with Bedford.

The Wales international has recovered from a calf strain and is set to partner Andy Borgen at half-back in what will be a hugely testing encounter.

That means Gareth Taylor is likely to drop to the bench alongside former Colts skipper Callum Macburnie.

The 19-year-old comes on to the bench hoping to make his competitive debut after doing well in pre-season before picking up a knock.

If he does that he will be the first Colt in several seasons to come through the system to make it into the first team. Indeed, he may even get a start if Reece Spee does not win his own battle against a troublesome calf to step in for Bryn Keys.

Like compatriot Justin Mensah-Coker, the centre is away on international duty with Canada.

That should bring Mike Gillick into the team for a rare start.
