MOSELEY hooker Adam Caves applauded his team-mates’ resolve after they defied difficult conditions and a determined Plymouth side to hold out for a gutsy draw at Brickfields.
Even though the 6-6 stalemate condemned Mose to the relegation play-offs it also seriously hit Albion’s chances of escaping the bottom four and with the clubs now likely to meet in the post-season it will give the Birmingham side more confidence.

The tightness of the game was a big turnaround from when the sides met at Billesley Common in October, when Moseley gifted Plymouth a 36-22 win. It also extended Mose’s unbeaten run to four matches.
And after all their struggles this season Caves feels the mental fortitude his side demonstrated in Devonport will stand them in good stead.
“We are building now for the play-offs.
