Cambridge 10 Stourbridge 32

STOURBRIDGE underlined their promotion credentials in National Two when they ended Cambridge's undefeated record at Grantchester Road with a five-try show.

Flay-half Sam Robinson, left-wing Jon Hall and centre Mark Eastwood all went over for tries before the break with Bressington landing two conversions for a 19-0 lead.

Cambridge managed to come back with a try of their own at the end of the half through winger Dominic Jones then put the Stour line under intense pressure at the start of the second half which resulted in a push over try by Glen Remnant.

Stour regrouped, though, and wrestled control back from the hosts through two late tries from Matt Williams and Eastwood.

A worry for Stour was a knee injury to Robinson, who will be having a scan this week, but he will at least have a week's rest with no game this weekend.
