Stourbridge 32 Westcombe Park 12

STOURBRIDGE got the promotion bandwagon rolling again after last week's blip at Blaydon, with a bonus-point win over Westcombe Park.

It was not a good start for Stour, though, as centre Mark Eastwood and fly-half Sam Robinson collided in the opening minute and had to be stretchered off. Stour took the lead through back-row Duncan White, who took advantage of a line-out mistake by the visitors, but they then gifted Park a try of their own. Alastair Bressington then landed two penalties for a 13-7 lead at the break. Park's hopes of an upset vanished 15 minutes into the second half when full-back Jon Hall and centre Adam Billig went over within a couple of minutes of each other. With 10 minutes to go, prop Chris Rowland went over for a fourth try and a bonus point.
