Worcester ready to to stand firm

WORCESTER will officially open their new East Stand before tomorrow’s Premiership match against Leicester at Sixways.
The new stand has been erected in barely four months and the final finishing touches were being put to the structure last night ahead of a safety inspection today.
The £8 million East Stand continues the impressive redevelopment of Sixways over the last 11 years and has increased the stadium’s capacity by 2,000 to just over 12,000. Worcester anticipate a sell-out crowd for the Midlands derby and they will aim to put on a show for their first home game of the season after last Sunday’s one-point win over defending champions Wasps at Adams Park.
The Warriors have made just one change to their starting line-up, bringing in Loki Crichton at fly-half in place of Matt Jones.
