Willie Walker set for Worcester Warriors debut

NEW signing Willie Walker will make his first Worcester appearance from the bench in tomorrow’s home clash with Bath.

The New Zealand Maori play-maker joined Warriors from Gloucester this week on a loan arrangement that will see him stay at Sixways for the rest of the season.

But he has had insufficient time to bed into the Warriors’ game-plan and will start among the replacements as Mike Ruddock’s men begin the second half of their Premiership campaign.

With Hal Luscombe out with a calf injury, utility player Loki Crichton will move to inside centre, allowing young fly-half Joey Carlisle to start a second consecutive league match for the first time in his career.

Former Australia international Chris Latham has made a full recovery from the neck injury that saw him carried off in the last match against Sale and temporarily caused him to lose feeling in his arms and legs.
