Birmingham League top two aim to get back to winning
May 25 2009 Birmingham Mail
TOP two Knowle & Dorridge and Kidderminster Victoria come face to face today in what looks like being a Bank Holiday bonanza.
K&D had to settle for a winning draw at Bromsgrove on Saturday while Kidderminster were taken apart by the bowling of Walmley’s Greg Ricketts.
A return to winning ways will be top of the agenda for both captains today.
Paul Wicker’s Walsall have yet to find the form that secured them the title last season and head to a resurgent Moseley.
Dougie Brown’s Barnt Green are at the foot of the table and face a tough test at neighbours Bromsgrove in what will be a first Birmingham League Premier Division meeting between the two Worcestershire sides.
Warwickshire bragging rights are up for grabs at Leamington, where Kenilworth Wardens are the visitors, while Himley head north to Shrewsbury.
Walmley will be looking to build on their brilliant win on Saturday when they head to a Wolverhampton side who have slipped down the table.
