Ian Salisbury added to one-day squad

SPINNER Ian Salisbury was added to Warwickshire's squad for their Friends Provident Trophy game at home to Leicestershire today.

The Bears need a win to reboot their qualification hopes after starting with a wash-out and a defeat.

Salisbury is in contention after a largely seam-based attack failed to defend a total of 293 at Northampton last week.

Jim Troughton's back injury is easing but not enough to risk first-team inclusion yet.

The left-hander could figure for the 2nds against Surrey at Cheam starting tomorrow. The Bears will still have Ian Bell and wicket-keeper Tim Ambrose in the top order for the championship visit to Derbyshire this week but could do with Troughton back in harness from then onward, after the England pair depart on the summer's international duty.
