Warwickshire get extra options with reutrn of Rikki Clarke

RIKKI Clarke’s return yesterday further spices up the Bears’ selection issue for tomorrow’s game against Yorkshire.

Fit again after a back injury ruled him out at Headingley last week, Clarke joins Chris Woakes, Will Porterfield and Boyd Rankin, who were on international duty, on the list to fit into a team which trounced Yorkshire on their own patch.

Somebody will be unlucky to make way and Neil Carter, Darren Maddy and Laurie Evans look likeliest while Clarke might not be risked as the Bears could ill-afford him to last only half a game as against Hampshire two weeks ago. Varun Chopra, Shiv Chanderpaul, Ian Westwood, Keith Barker, Woakes, Maddy and Evans were rested yesterday but are fit for tomorrow to face a Yorkshire side which will be without batting linchpin Jacques Rudolph, who is at a South Africa training camp.
