Steve McGoffin gets contract extension at Pears

WORCESTERSHIRE paceman Steve Magoffin has had his contract extended to take in this season's Twenty20 Cup.

The Western Australian is now scheduled to stay with the club until early July when West Indian Fidel Edwards will take over the overseas player duties.

"Steve's performances on the field have been just what we require to complement the rest of our seam attack and I have no doubt his strengths will help our Twenty20 challenge this year," said director of cricket Steve Rhodes.
