West Bromwich Albion close in on Marc-Antoine Fortune loan

ALBION are in advanced talks with AS Nancy over a loan move for Marc-Antoine Fortune.

The Baggies want to sign the 27-year-old for the rest of the season after watching him several times.

Manager Tony Mowbray has made several personal checks on his performances and has been impressed.

Discussions with the French club are ongoing but are not yet complete.

There are some fine details which still need to be agreed, such as the exact terms of the loan and fees involved.

If those are successful, Albion will need to discuss personal terms with the player but that should pose few problems, not least as Fortune has expressed a wish to join.
