Birmingham City's Cameron Jerome hails partnership with Christian Benitez is getting better

CAMERON Jerome reckons his striking partnership with Christian Benitez is getting better all the time.

Two of Blues’ fastest and most mobile of players have now been selected as the spearhead for the last three matches, which have brought a win and two draws.

Both scored in the 2-2 deadlock at Liverpool and Jerome revealed that plenty of graft at Wast Hills had gone into making the combination flourish.

“We have worked on it a lot in training,” said Jerome. “The manager has got that into us, how he wants us to play, especially against the bigger teams when they’re going to be having a lot of possession.

“We’ve got to try and dovetail and help the side out a bit more when we play the likes of Man City and Liverpool.
