Jonas Olsson insists West Bromwich Albion don't fear Manchester United

Jonas Olsson

JONAS Olsson believes West Brom will have nothing to fear when they visit Manchester United on Saturday.

The Baggies travel to Old Trafford hoping for a repeat of their heroic performance against Arsenal a fortnight ago.

That display, according to Olsson, can give Roberto Di Matteo’s men confidence going into the busy period between now and Christmas.

The Swede feels Albion’s early-season form does not owe anything to luck but is more a reflection of their ability.

“If you win at the Emirates then you shouldn’t fear anyone,” said Olsson.

“When you sum it up and sum up your career you remember going to places like the Emirates and Old Trafford and the way we’re playing at the moment makes me confident and inspired to go there.

“We’re in sixth spot and we’ve earned the right to go there and give them a test.

“It will be a big game for us. We’ve put down good performances against Arsenal and Spurs, we beat Manchester City in the cup and we gave a good perforamnce at Liverpool, even though we lost.

“We’re not going to apologise for being sixth because we deserve to be where we are.
