Alex McLeish on his dream for Birmingham City silverware
Oct 26 2010 by Colin Tattum, Birmingham Mail

ALEX McLeish has admitted it would be a ‘‘dream come true’’ if he could steer Birmingham City to silverware.
Tonight they bid to make the Carling Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2005.
League One Brentford stand in their way at St Andrew’s (7.45pm).
Winners of the competition in 1963, that heady success against Villa in a two-leg final represents Blues’ only major honour.
Trevor Francis’ 2001 Blues were unlucky to have lost the Worthington Cup final to Liverpool on penalties.
