David Sullivan: There are no problems with Birmingham City
Nov 5 2010 by Colin Tattum, Birmingham Mail

DAVID Sullivan has insisted that no bad blood remained between the old and the new at Blues.
Sullivan steps into St Andrew’s tomorrow with West Ham United, for the first time since selling the club to Carson Yeung 13 months ago.
And he said he had huge respect for Yeung and Peter Pannu, despite a series of bitter battles and caustic jibes in the aftermath of the £81.5 million takeover, particularly involving the acting chairman.
Sullivan, who guided Blues along with the Gold brothers and Karren Brady from 1993, even congratulated Yeung for ‘screwing a chunk of money out of us’ after a High Court scrap.
“I hate confrontation, and things have now run their course, and there are no problems,” Sullivan told the Birmingham Mail.
“What happened was that Peter Pannu was doing his best for Carson Yeung and I respect him for that. In fact, I have huge respect for both Carson and Peter.
“It was business, one professional against another. Nothing really bad was said and, from the bottom of my heart, although David Gold is probably a bit bitter, I have admiration for them.
“Peter’s done a marvellous job and they screwed a chunk of money out of us. I have no argument about that, you have to say ‘well done’ to them.
