Birmingham City not down among the dead men - Alex McLeish

ALEX McLeish has insisted that Blues are not in the desperate shape the Premier League table might have you believe.
Blues are in the bottom three for the first time since they were relegated in 2007-08.
But the points differential between 18th and tenth is just three.
“Man City and Stoke were performances where I don’t think we have to unduly worry about that aspect,” he said.
“If you don’t get the results, then it’s obviously a concern. But if we were playing badly, then I think I’d be even more paranoid about the whole thing.
“We are down at the bottom – but so are the teams a point above us. There’s about ten teams that are near the bottom.
“Is it too early into the season to read anything into the table? I would say so.
