Birmingham City midfielder Craig Gardner hoping to score more goals

CRAIG Gardner is hoping to see his name on the scoresheet more often this season.

The Blues midfielder, who is also the club’s top scorer, netted a vital equaliser against Spurs last weekend to take his season’s tally to five.

Since his arrival in January from Villa, Gardner has become an instant fans’ favourite.

Now the 24-year-old Bluenose wants to repay Alex McLeish for bringing him to St Andrew’s, by bagging more goals from midfield.
