West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt happy to remain a Baggie

CHRIS Brunt says it is flattering to be linked with other clubs but insists he is happy at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies winger has been in blistering form this season despite carrying a groin injury over the past few weeks.

Brunt has only joined in a few training sessions over the past fortnight as he continues to nurse the strain, which he says is especially sore after games.

His form for Albion, however, has not suffered, and the Northern Ireland international has even been linked with a shock move to Liverpool.

But despite the reported interest, Brunt is focusing on Albion rather than a move away from the club.

“Of course it is flattering,” he said.
