CURTIS Davies has seen enough of Nathan Redmond to realise he is destined for the top.
Throughout his career the Blues defender has played alongside a host of young players, some of whom made it and some who did not.
But the ex-Albion and Villa star, who has been in fine form this season, believes the 17-year-old star ticks all the boxes and knows Blues have a real gem on their hands.
“I don’t want to put any pressure on him but having seen him I believe he can go all the way,” he said.
“He knows he’s got a lot to learn because if you’ve got the ability there’s things that come with it that you have to adapt to as well.
“He’s got the ability and he seems to have the mentality so hopefully he’ll keep kicking on up that ladder.”
Redmond scored his fourth Blues goal, and arguably his best to date, on Tuesday night as he came off the bench to change the game for Chris Hughton’s men.
