Broad strikes as England start well
Stuart Broad claimed three early wickets to give England a major boost as they attempt to bounce back in the second one-day international against India.
The tourists, desperate to atone for Friday's 158-runs humbling in Rajkot, lost the toss but Broad punished India's decision to bat first on a slow pitch with uneven bounce at the Nehru Stadium in Indore.
The Nottinghamshire seamer struck three times in a five-over new-ball spell costing just 14 runs as India struggled to 61 for three after 15 overs.
Both sides had decided to name unchanged line-ups with England keeping faith with the XI hammered on Friday while India resisted the temptation to recall star seamer Ishant Sharma, who missed the opener to the seven match series with an ankle problem.
Yuvraj Singh passed a fitness test on the back problem which troubled him throughout his brilliant, unbeaten 138 in Rajkot.
