Win keeps Reds top
Goals from Xabi Alonso, Yossi Benayoun and Steven Gerrard gave Liverpool a 3-1 victory over Blackburn at Ewood Park and cemented their place at the top of the table.
Alonso opened the scoring with a low drive in the 68th minute and Benayoun extended their lead 11 minutes later with a superb solo effort.
Blackburn got a consolation goal in the 86th minute through Roque Santa Cruz but Gerrard had the last word in stoppage time.
