Day three start delayed

England were made to wait to begin their reply to India's daunting first innings total after bad weather delayed the start of play on the third day of the second Test in Mohali.

Alastair Cook and Andrew Strauss walked out to the middle on Saturday evening but returned to the pavilion without facing a ball as bad light halted play.

Fog on Sunday morning then left the opening duo waiting to start England's attempt to overhaul India's formidable total of 453.
