Brummies face Potters in semi

BIRMINGHAM will meet Stoke in the last four of the Young Shield after the Potters produced a dramatic victory over Somerset in the quarter-finals.

Beaten 58-34 at the Oak Tree Arena in Friday's first leg, in which they also lost Glenn Cunningham with a broken thigh, Stoke overturned that defeat with a stunning 59-33 win on Saturday night to triumph 93-91 on aggregate.

The first leg of the semi-final is at Perry Barr on Wednesday night, with the return at Loomer Road next Saturday night.
