Wolves hunt a return to form

WOLVERHAMPTON need to get back to winning ways in tonight's clash with Peterborough at Monmore (7.30pm).

The meeting sees in-form Dane Niels Kristian Iversen, a maximum man in last week's defeat by Lakeside, face his former club for the first time since joining Wolves in the winter.

He said: "I had a good time at Peterborough but the move to Wolves has worked out very well for me and I'm enjoying myself here.

"I still have a lot of friends at Peterborough and they look to have a very good team once again this year so it's going to be a tough meeting.

"It would be nice for us to beat my old team, but above everything else it's important we get back to winning meetings after losing last week."

The Parrys International Wolves are still waiting on the fitness of Kenneth Hansen, who has a chipped bone in his foot, and a late decision will be made on whether he returns to the UK from his Danish base.

Iversen and skipper Freddie Lindgren are back from the Slovenian Grand Prix at the weekend, a meeting won by Polish star Tomasz Gollob. Peterborough skipper Hans Andersen was third, Iversen scored eight and Lindgren seven.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Kenneth Hansen, David Howe, Christian Hefenbrock, Nicolai Klindt.

PETERBOROUGH: Hans Andersen, Morten Risager, Kenneth Bjerre, Sam Simota, Daniel King, Claus Vissing, Henrik Moller.

* Birmingham's Premier Trophy clash with King's Lynn, which was postponed last night, has been re-arranged for May 25.
