Tee off for big pro-am at The Belfry

CELEBRITIES will tee off alongside some of the biggest names in golf at the Belfry, near Sutton Coldfield, next Wednesday.

Blues and ex-West Brom striker Kevin Phillips will join TV and radio presenter Vernon Kay and former Wales rugby star Jonathan Davies for the Quinn Insurance Pro-Am tournament.

The stars will be paired with professionals. Among those invited are Colin Montgomerie, Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke.

The pro-am competition begins at 8am and entry is free.

The four-day Quinn Insurance British Masters begins the following day and forms part of the European Tour.
