Holders Trooper dumped out of cup by Hundred Acre

SENIOR Cup holders Trooper bowed out of this season’s competition in the second round with a 3-2 extra time defeat to Hundred Acre.
Gardner, Hughes and Woakes scored the Acre goals while Minnis and Cornell replied for Trooper.
Kingshurst Sporting Club also went out after a goal from Tipper fired Bartley Green into the semis.
They will be joined in the last four by Erdington Cosmos Keys who hammered Audley Rangers 7-2 and Travellers who beat Grosevenor Park 4-2 thanks to a Dainty hat-trick.
Ernie Baxter Memorial Cup champions Halfway are through to this season’s semi-final after overcoming David Lloyd 5-4 in extra time.
Weller hit three for the holders while Billingham also notched a hat-trick for the unlucky losers.
Bellford Rovers caused an upset by knocking out high-flying Hamstead with a 3-0 win after a Benjamin brace and a goal from Robinson.
Also through to the semis are Thimblemill who beat Wednesbury Rosehill Tavern 2-1 with a Jones double while Wonder Vaults won 3-2 against Warren Rovers.
In the George Williams Memorial Cup, Pearsons knocked out holders Holdens with a 3-2 win to progress to the last four, alongside Ceol Castle who won 5-0 and Longbridge who beat Three Horseshoes 4-2.
SW Fabs defeated Yardley Dynamo 5-1 in the second round of the Jim Summerfield Memorial Cup. They are through to the semi-finals alongside Shirley Town, Harborne Harriers and AC Vale.
