Four points from two games is the target for Sunderland

Sunderland manager Ricky Sbragia is targeting a minimum four points from the club's next two Barclays Premier League games as the Wearsiders seek to ensure their top-flight survival.

They face Tottenham at the Stadium of Light tomorrow before taking on Wigan at home seven days later, and with the club still only four points above the relegation zone Sbragia knows home form will be vital.

"We need to be unbeaten from the two home games," Sbragia told the club's official website www.safc.com.

"It would be nice to get six points but we would settle for four if we have an off-day in one of them.

"Things remain tight in the league and we need to win our home games, it's a big fortnight for us. We took a point from games at Arsenal and Liverpool and you would take that all the time, now we need to kick on.

"Spurs have a good squad and they shouldn't really be in this position. But they are because they haven't won enough games; it shows that it's not easy in the Premier League."
