Money set to bring Butler back

Richard Money

WALSALL boss Richard Money is ready to throw Martin Butler's goalscoring experience back into the fray as the Saddlers aim for their first win of the season against Swansea tomorrow.

Butler is yet to feature having suffered from a virus but is now back in training and likely to be used in some capacity by Money in tomorrow's League One showdown.

"Martin has looked quite bright which is a big bonus because it was a bit of a concern how he would come back," said Money.

"We'll see how he is ahead of tomorrow but he'll definitely be in my thinking.

"Whilst our goals for column after the two league games only reads one, I don't think we've been a disaster up there, that's for sure.

"Martin's got a great deal of experience and has scored goals regularly at this level so you've got to think he'll be very strongly in my thoughts."

Money, hopeful his side can put on a good performance as tribute to the memory of trainee Anton Reid, expects a much different game from the last

week's Carling Cup tie at Swansea which the Welsh side won 1-0.

"We'll have a much-changed team from that game and I think they will as well," he added.

"It's a new 90 minutes, and I think the game will be a completely different one tomorrow.

"I genuinely think they'll be one of the challengers this season, and even though they've only got a point from their first two games by all accounts they

played Nottingham Forest off the park last weekend.

"We expect a very tough match, as they are all going to be in this league, but we will be positive and try and take the game to them."

With Butler now poised to return to the squad, and Edrissa Sonko also available again, Money is reporting a clean bill of health with the exception of

defender Allan Picken, who is "making progress" in his recovery from his knee injury.

Tomorrow's game will be preceded by a minute's silence in memory of Reid, who died after collapsing during training on Monday.
