Alex Nicholls: Walsall can pass replay test

ALEX Nicholls has outlined Walsall's belief that they can come through a tough FA Cup replay at Millwall tonight.

The teams meet again after drawing 0-0 at the Banks's Stadium 10 days ago.

When a cup tie between two teams from the same division is drawn it normally becomes 'advantage home side'.

But that's not so much the case tonight with the Saddlers unbeaten on their travels since September - an amazing run which began with a 2-1 league win at The New Den.

"We have been strong away from home throughout the season," said striker Nicholls. "The amount of points you pick up on the road is a good guide to where you are going to end up in the league and we have been doing really well.

"We are under no illusions about the replay. Millwall is a tough place to go and we will have to play very well. But we have belief in the squad and the manager has belief in the team. If we can play like we did at Yeovil last Tuesday we have a great chance."

Michael Ricketts is expected to be fit to compete with Nicholls and Troy Deeney for a place up front tonight against a Millwall side looking to bounce back from a poor 3-1 defeat to struggling Port Vale last Saturday.
