Mark Bradley targets Swindon return

WALSALL midfielder Mark Bradley aims to be back in the mix at Swindon on Saturday after missing the last two games through injury.

Bradley has been sidelined by ankle bone-bruising which also kept him out of Wales Uner-21s' recent European qualifier in Malta.

But his energy and bite in midfield could be back for the Saddlers against the Robins.

"I have been working hard with the physio and am getting stronger all the time," Bradley said.

"I hope I'll be involved at Swindon. I want to really push-on over the next few days and come back stronger and fitter," he said.

"As a team we want to give it a real go during the run-in this season.

"No-one expected us to be where we are in the table but we are up there and now want to be involved in the play-offs."

While Bradley could return at Swindon, Walsall's fans wait to see if Richard Money's attempts to recruit a striker will bear fruit.

The manager is browsing loan options while Michael Ricketts' return remains another possibility.

The former England striker, now a free agent, knows the Saddlers are interested and his Achilles injury has now had six weeks rest since his last game, the 2-0 win at Yeovil on January 8.
