Walsall can win remaining four games, says Dean Smith

WALSALL are more than capable of winning all four of their remaining fixtures, according to Dean Smith.

The Saddlers take on Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow then Oldham on Monday before completing the season with games against Charlton and Southampton.

All four of their final opponents have played in the Premier League in the past but Smith is not letting their high-profile status affect preparations.

“I think they’re all winnable,” he said.

“I’ve said that before, and I wasn’t trying to be smart, I just think we can win all of our games.

“We’d love to wrap it up as soon as we could and three wins would probably do that for us.

“To get to where we are now is a fantastic achievement to have something to fight for with four games to go and possibly being out of it if we do win three games on the spin.

“The players have worked hard and they need to carry on.”
