Tony Mowbray fears Michal Danek move to Albion is doomed

ALBION are continuing talks with Viktoria Plzen over Michal Danek - even though Tony Mowbray conceded that hopes of signing him were fading.
Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace and finance director Mark Jenkins travelled to the Czech Republic on Monday to try to seal his signing.
Albion wanted to take him on an initial loan deal but his club rejected that proposal, insisting they would only sell him permanently.
Ondrej Chovanec, Danek's agent, claimed on Tuesday that Albion would return with a new offer but Mowbray cast doubt over the transfer coming to fruition. Although the boss hasn't given up hope, he conceded it was looking "unlikely". "There's nothing more to say at the moment," said Mowbray.
"The boy came and trained with us and has now gone back to his club.
"We will have to what and see if anything develops but at the moment it's looking unlikely, although there are ongoing discussions."
