Ishmael Miller can only get better, says Tony Mowbray

ISHMAEL Miller, Albion's FA Cup quarter-final hat-trick hero, can get even better.

Tony Mowbray said he had the potential to become the real deal.

"One thing with Ishmael is that we're trying to get his work rate up," revealed the Baggies boss.

"He has got undoubted quality, undoubted power and goalscoring ability but if he works as hard as he did last night, he won't be far off.

"I know as a centre-half - long, long ago when I played - I wouldn't have liked to be against someone with his power, pace and strength and technical ability.

"He showed that in abundance."

Mowbray added: "Ishmael has been scoring goals almost every time he has been on the pitch since joining us.

"Joe Royle once told me that you are only as good as your strikers and I'm delighted that we have got some great strikers here who are scoring goals on a regular basis.

"They're all in double figures now and Ishmael has made a big contribution."
