WEST Bromwich Albion's reserves suffered their first defeat in four games as they crashed 5-2 at Shrewsbury Town.

Bartosz Slusarski gave the Baggies the lead at the New Meadow with his sixth goal in four games.

But Albion then were 3-1 down before Matthew Pike cut the deficit before the hosts added two more goals.

Senior players Slusarski and Jared Hodgkiss both got 90 minutes under their belts in the Pontin's Holidays League Division One (Central) fixture.
