Tony Mowbray sights on a victory

TONY Mowbray has no qualms about Albion's chances of victory at Molineux tomorrow night.

Both sides are desperate for points - Albion to reclaim top spot and Wolves to draw level with sixth-placed Crystal Palace.

And the boss feels his side have the moral fibre and ability to win to keep promotion in their own hands.

Mowbray's men will leapfrog leaders Stoke if they get a draw but a victory will create a two-game swing between the Baggies and third-placed Bristol City because of their vastly superior goal difference.

With Bristol taking on Stoke this weekend, the opportunity is there to pull away from the chasing pack.

"We've got four games to go and we're looking forward to them," said Mowbray.

"We feel we can be competitive in all of them and if we can win all of them we will be fine.

"Great credit to the players for the effort they put into the game (against Watford), three days after a gigantic effort at Blackpool.

"They've got to look after themselves between now and Tuesday night because they've got to go again then.

"With three games to go for most sides and four for us, it's not a bad position to be in.

"If you lose a game you can drop three or four places, if we win Tuesday we'll be back on top of the table.

"We're looking forward to going to Molineux. I have no fears about the away games.

"We've been particularly strong away from home in the last couple of months.

"It's a great challenge for us and being against our local rivals means there will be a bit of extra spice."

Mowbray praised the Albion fans for their support in the draw against Watford, despite seeing his side concede a sixth-minute goal.

"The supporters were very good," he added. "It was a full house and they stuck with the team all the way.''
