Tony Mowbray tells West Bromwich Albion players to forget Wolves result

Tony Mowbray

ALBION boss Tony Mowbray will bring his players back down to earth by telling them to forget about their win at Wolves and focus toward Saturday's trip to Norwich.

The Baggies could potentially be just four points away from guaranteeing automatic promotion if they win at Carrow Road and other results go their way.

Mowbray is hoping his side will go onto finish off the job and will not allow any of his players to get carried away by their win at Molineux.

Even so, he feels they deserved their victory last night.

"From my perspective 1-0 is fine and we’ll take the three points.," Mowbray said.

"But on chances created we probably deserved to win by a bigger margin.

"Nobody is getting carried away.

"It can swing on its head on Saturday.

"We’ve got to go to Norwich and try and find another performance.

"Norwich will be the sixth game in 18 days so it’s a big, big ask for the players so let’s see how we go.

"We’d rather be in the position we are than not."
