I'll make West Bromwich Albion a Premier League club, vows Tony Mowbray

Tony Mowbray

TONY Mowbray has vowed to 're-establish' Albion in the Premier League.

The jubilant Baggies boss was celebrating promotion last night, but insisting that his job was only part-done.

Mowbray, given a hero's reception following the final whistle after last night's 1-1 draw against Southampton, wants success.

"It was great to see so many happy people in the stadium," he said.

"I enjoy it. I love being im football.

"There is a sense of achievement - that's why I left a wonderful club in Scotland to come here, to take this club back to the Premier League.

"Our goal now is to re-establish this club and ensure that the name West Bromwich Albion is synonomous with the Premier League.

"That's our target and we've already begun our preparations."
