Tony Mowbray may bid for Arsenal youngsters to join West Bromwich Albion

WEST Bromwich Albion boss Tony Mowbray has refused to rule out a move for one of Arsenal’s highly-rated youngsters during the January transfer window.

Mowbray has been a huge admirer of Arsene Wenger’s young players in this season’s Carling Cup.

But Wenger has revealed that most of them are unlikely to feature much this season for the Gunners following their League Cup exit to Burnley, which could pave the way for loan moves.

Mowbray claims that not all of Wenger’s ‘kids’ would be suitable for Albion’s survival battle, although he stopped short of drawing a line through the possibility of bringing one to The Hawthorns.

“It’s about putting your jigsaw puzzle together,” said Mowbray.
