West Bromwich Albion boss won't give in

TONY Mowbray has no intention of giving up on Albion’s Premier League campaign - despite his team’s awful form.

The Throstles have lost eight of their last 10 games, taking just two points in the process.

Mowbray’s men are, not surprisingly, bottom of the Premier League on 12 points, six behind safety and with a hugely inferior goal difference.

They take on 17th-placed Manchester City this weekend knowing that nothing less than a win will do. Failure to do so will keep Albion at the bottom of the table over Christmas.

Mowbray has been in reflective mood this week, admitting that he was learning the harsh realities of England’s top flight.

But he has no plans to give up just yet.

“We showed that if we can get some form, as we did earlier in the season, we can get back in the mix,” Mowbray told the Birmingham Mail.

“When will that happen, will it ever happen, will we not, will it be too late?

“If we do over the next month then we can maybe make some other clubs nervous.

“We are not giving up.

“I’ve had two decent seasons in Scotland, two here and life is a learning curve.

“This (season) will stand us all in good stead, myself included. I’ve had some
