Roman Bednar says West Brom have a score to settle with Chelsea on Boxing Day

ROMAN Bednar will be putting Christmas to the back of his mind as he targets an Albion upset at Chelsea on Boxing Day.

The Baggies will be aiming to settle scores following the recent 3-0 home defeat to Luis Felipe Scolari’s men.

But they will also be sniffing an upset, not least as the Premier League’s high-fliers have a relatively poor home record. Chelsea have taken just 13 of their 37 points at Stamford Bridge, giving some hope to Tony Mowbray’s men.

“I hope we will learn from losing at Old Trafford and Anfield,” said Bednar, who scored Albion’s winner against Manchester City on Sunday.

“I am thinking about Chelsea. After Sunday’s win, we will be more confident.
