Mowbray added: "With Gianni it's a hamstring strain, but more of a tightening or cramping.

"Foreign players are generally on a three or four week break this time of year yet they're having to play two games in three days. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

"Robert Koren was ill, Filipe will hopefully be training this week - whether he'll be ready for the weekend I don't know.

"With Abdoulaye it'll be about two weeks we hope - let's wait and see."

Mowbray today also rubbished reports linking Albion with a move for Paris St Germain striker Peguy Luyindula.
