Jay Simpson warned: You'll face battle to get in West Brom team
ALBION’S Three Musketeers are raising their swords in readiness for the battle.
The message is blatantly clear: If Jay Simpson wishes to break into Albion’s first-team he will need to get past Roman Bednar, Luke Moore and Craig Beattie first.
Since Ishmael Miller’s season ended against Portsmouth, the trio have bagged four goals between them, with Bednar notching twice, the other two once each.
Their return to form has been significant.
Moore was struggling to get a game however in his two-and-a-half games since has worked hard and looked the part.
Bednar has become the battering ram that Albion fans grew to love last season, while Beattie looks leaner and meaner than at any other stage in his Baggies career, helped by a spell at Crystal Palace.
Tony Mowbray is glad to see all three firing, not least as Simpson begins his loan spell from Arsenal.
“They have all worked extremely hard over the last few weeks,” said Mowbray.
